Reservations
A reservation is considered confirmed only when the agriturismo communicates its acceptance (via email, phone, etc.) and the deposit payment (caparra confirmatoria) has been received.
The requested rooms will be held for the customer until the deposit is received via bank transfer.
The payment of the deposit constitutes unconditional acceptance of the contract stipulated by the agriturismo under Article 1326 of the Italian Civil Code.
The deposit is non-interest-bearing and governed by Article 1385 of the Italian Civil Code (Caparra Confirmatoria).
According to the law, a reservation is considered a binding contract that obligates both parties to comply with the General Terms and Conditions of Service.
Payments
To secure a reservation, the customer must pay a deposit of 30% of the total stay price (calculated at the time of booking). This percentage may be subject to change at the discretion of the agriturismo.
The deposit is payable only after the agriturismo confirms room availability and accepts the reservation.
By paying the deposit, the customer acknowledges and accepts the agriturismo’s quality standards, as displayed on the official website, along with the General Terms and Conditions of Sale.
Failure to pay the deposit within 7 days of booking will result in the automatic cancellation of the reservation by the agriturismo.
Reservations will not be guaranteed without a deposit.
The remaining balance for the stay must be paid upon arrival, after the customer has inspected the reserved accommodation and confirmed that the room is in perfect condition. Any issues should be reported immediately.
Any additional expenses (extras) must be paid at the time of consumption.
Check-in / Check-out
In accordance with international hotel standards:
- Check-in: From 2:30 PM to 6:30 PM on the day of arrival.
- Check-out: By 10:00 AM on the day of departure.
The reserved and confirmed room will be held until 8:00 PM on the day of arrival. If the customer does not arrive or notify the agriturismo of any delays, the reservation will be considered canceled, and the room may be reassigned.
Changes to the Reservation
Any changes to the original booking (e.g., reducing the number of guests, shortening the stay, etc.) must be communicated via phone or email at least 7 days before arrival. A new price quote will be provided based on the updated request.
If no prior notice is given, the agriturismo will retain the equivalent of three nights’ stay per absent guest from the deposit as compensation (in accordance with Article 2, Chapter I, “Various Performance and Service Provisions” of the Provincial Collection of Customs). A new price quote will be issued for the remaining stay.
Cancellation Policy
Before Arrival:
- If the customer cancels at least 30 days before the start of the stay, 15% of the total booking amount will be charged as a penalty (covered by the deposit).
- If the cancellation occurs less than 30 days before arrival, 30% of the total booking amount (the entire deposit) will be retained as a penalty.
During the Stay:
- If the customer shortens the stay after check-in due to personal reasons, the full cost of the original booking must still be paid. This is because the sudden change results in a financial loss for the agriturismo, which could have otherwise assigned the room to another guest.
Damages
Any damages to the room that are not reported at check-in but are discovered by the staff during the stay will be fully charged to the customer. The cost will be determined based on a technical evaluation and an official price list.
